Synergy “across the board” also evident in a new CI/CD for the entire Sorbes Group. The new corporate design unites the dynamism of the best resources in Switzerland, Estonia and the Ukraine in a consistent brand.
The main challenge was to create a platform that was stylistically in accord with a premium market environment, but at the same time not too “high-end” since the Sorbes lines are designed to be affordable to a broader circle of customers.
The dominant colour in the new corporate design is a stylish orange. The tone is at the interface between the natural origins of derived timber products and the design potential of modern facings. It is also at the pivotal point between industrial production and the emotional dimension of
design and lifestyle. After all, Sorbes boards are used to create living and working environments in which people need to feel at ease.
Productivity and swissness
The new Sorbes logotype sends out a double signal. The lettering in a “stencil” typeface acknowledges the ongoing entrepreneurial commitment to production. And the discreet plus sign or cross is the symbol of “Swissness”, with precisely timed operational processes and guaranteed reliability. In a wider sense, “Swissness” also stands for design quality, systematically pared down to the essentials.
The concentration on a clear logotype and the deliberate avoidance of complicated logos make it possible to combine the trademark with appealing messages: Sorbes “speaks” to customers, business partners and employees.
People and products centre stage
Sorbes has also developed a distinctive new picture concept which stakes out an attractive visual platform and makes it the company’s own on an enduring basis.
The concept places boards by Sorbes literally centre stage – in authentic surroundings which portray the whole production process from the point of origin to final application. The boards are held by customers and end-users – our customers’ customers.
In view of the fact that Repo by Sorbes and Swisspan are the décor leaders in their respective native regions, plenty of variety is guaranteed over the long term.
Integration from board to web
A special strength of the new corporate design is its integration potential on all levels and in every area.
For example in the area of corporate communications, the striking logotypes and stencil-like element are suitable for direct application on products.
In addition to stationery and exterior signage, all the Group’s premises and offices will give a clear visual line, first and foremost in the reception, waiting and exhibition areas.
The joint website – www.sorbesgroup.com – is already finished and ready to receive visitors.
