The latest-generation dust extractor in Püssi has successfully completed its trial period. The installation is part of the ongoing commitment to protecting employees and environmental integrity and should significantly reduce emissions both in- and outside the plant.

Sorbes Group’s production volume to reach the million mark for the first time in 2007. Up to the end of the current year, production of chipboard – mostly laminated – is set to exceed 900,000 m³. Exports are also on the rise.

Innovation

In April 2008, Repo by Sorbes started manufacturing structural particleboard Repo Floor. Repo Floor is a three-layer round tongued and grooved particleboard for use as load-bearing board in dry conditions.
